College Facilities
Mackay Christian College caters for students from Pre-Prep (Kindy) to Year 12. The College is located in tropical North Queensland and spans across two campuses, ‘Kings Park’ & ‘Providence’.

Kings Park has rapidly developed since it was established in 1988, and currently caters for students in the Middle and Senior Schools (Year 6 – 12).

Providence campus was established in 2011 and is home to our Junior School (Prep to Year 5) and the Pre-Prep Learning Centre.
King’s Park and Providence campuses are located within 850m of each other making travel between the two campuses very quick and easy to navigate.
We invite you to take a walk through our either our Kings Park or Providence campuses to not only experience the stunning gardens but also gain an appreciation of the first class facilities provided for our students.
You will quickly realise the enormous depth of resources available to your child as we help them achieve their full potential and become all God wants them to be.
Modern, brightly coloured, architecturally designed buildings offer generous classroom and teaching spaces and foster a friendly, uplifting and personal learning environment.
King’s Park Campus was designed to provide a dynamic learning experience for our Middle and Senior School students. The specialized facilities and beautifully landscaped grounds contribute to creating a schooling environment that encourages the personal, social and academic development of our students.
TRADE TRAINING CENTRE
The Mackay Christian College Trade Training Centre as a purpose built 1200sqm facility all under the one roof. It includes;
A junior woodwork and metalwork workshop which are fully equipped and laid out to enable whole class involvement.
A large air conditioned design room with 30 Computer Aided Drafting and Design computers
An 800sq metre trade training workshop housing 6 digital readout lathes; 4 milling machines; 8 welding bays, including MIG, TIG and oxy welding operations; car hoist , tyre changer and balancer; 2400 hydraulic guillotine and bender and punch and shears; and a 1 tonne jib crane
The Construction area contains all equipment required for training in concreting through to painting
AGRICULTURE CENTRE
The MCC Agricultural Centre of Excellence provides a unique, practical learning environment for our students. It operates as a small farm setting and consists of the following facilities;
Student Classroom for conducting Agricultural Science lessons on the farm
Shed Areas includes facilities for animal handling and teaching space and areas for washing vegetables, working with plants, mixing fertilisers, etc.
Training Area for teaching students animal handling skills and preparing cattle for show events
Cattle Yards for handling and treating beef cattle
Poultry Shed for laying poultry
Vegetable Gardens for planting and cropping by students
